INTRODUCTION

This Web site presents an overview and the results of the 2004 AoA Survey of Participants in OAA programs. The purpose of this nationally representative sample survey is to collect information on client satisfaction, consumer assessment of service quality, and consumer reported outcomes of clients participating in OAA state and community programs on aging. The second survey covers seven services: home-delivered meals, homemaker assistance, transportation, caregiver support associated with these three programs, the Family Caregiver Support Program, congregate meals, and information and assistance. In addition, the survey includes information on social functioning and emotional well-being (for congregate and home-delivered meals, homemaker assistance, and transportation), physical functioning (for home delivered meals, homemaker assistance, and transportation), and demographic characteristics for all clients.

This Web site includes tables of frequencies, percents, and standard errors for the survey responses, in Microsoft Excel format, with accompanying narrative introductions. Also, there is a description of the survey design, including the methodologies for questionnaire development, sampling, data collection, and weighting the results.
