CONGREGATE NUTRITION PROGRAM
INTRODUCTION
The OAA nutrition program serves more clients than any other Title III program (for more information please go to AoA's website). The focus is on consumer assessment of the quality of the service and outcomes of participation.

TEST INSTRUMENT
The questionnaire for the congregate meals clients was developed in parallel to the one for the home delivered meals clients. Please see the test instrument section under home delivered meals for a description of its development and content.

In contrast to home delivered meals clients, the physical functioning questionnaire is not typically administered to congregate meals clients, who are less frail and often participate in the program for socialization as well as for the nutritional benefits. However, it is important to collect additional data on their social and emotional well-being as well as demographic information to help capture program impact.
